Abstract
⺠A less well-known inelastic neutron scattering technique to probe magnetic ordering of a specific magnetic element, viz. Nd. ⺠This technique can lead to model-independent determination the magnetic moment of Nd ions. ⺠The present investigation we resolved an old controversy about ordering of Nd magnetic moment in NdMn2Si2 and NdMn2Ge2.
