Abstract
► We study the entanglement and thermal features of trimer-like molecular magnets. ► We examine the factorizing process in trimers with Dzyaloshinskii-Moriya interaction. ► A quantifiable factorizing magnetic field is found in the (Cr7Ni)2Cu molecule. ► Numerical witnessing of the critical fields is done through magnetic specific heat. ► Total-spin parity characterizes the critical fields through quenched energy splitting.
