Abstract
The magnetic properties and structures of CoPt15Â nm/Ag0â100Â nm films deposited by DC magnetron sputtering on glass substrates have been studied. The (0Â 0Â 1) texturing was improved by introducing an Ag underlayer. As the Ag underlayer thickness was 100Â nm, a nearly perfect (0Â 0Â 1)-textured CoPt film was obtained.
