Abstract
Carboxylated magnetic polymer nanolatexes were prepared by miniemulsion polymerization using 4,4â²-azobis(4-cyanopentanoic acid) (ACPA) as initiator, which provided carboxyl end groups on the latex surface directly. The colloidal stability and the magnetic properties showed that these resulting carboxylated magnetic polymer nanolatexes were applicable in biomedical separation, which was performed by covalent coupling of activated antibody.
