Abstract
A two frequency undulator is considered as a medium for interaction between an electron beam and two transversal electromagnetic waves. A one dimensional approach in small signal gain regime is employed and a set of linear equations governing the energy and phase evolution of the system is derived and is studied numerically. The bunching factor for two sort of bunching process, corresponding to two independent components of the undulator, is investigated.
