Abstract
The paper is devoted to the interaction of the charged particles with cavity of conical geometry. The excited electromagnetic fields in the cavity are obtained as the expansion over the resonant modes of empty cavity. The analytical expressions for the longitudinal and transverse wake potentials of a closed conical cavity with perfectly conducting walls are given. The loss factor for a single mode is calculated.
