Abstract
We have undertaken a ”proof of principle” Normal Incidence X-ray standing wave (NIXSW) experiment on a monolayer of C60Ph5-OH, a functionalised fullerene, on Ag(111) and show that it is indeed possible to use XSW in case of extremely low coverage of low Z elements such as oxygen. We find a tentative coherent fraction fco of 30% and a coherent position Dco of 2.35Ã
