Abstract
Crystal and quasicrystal Al65Cu22Fe13 local structure peculiarities were studied by EXAFS spectroscopy at a wide temperature range of 20-300Â K. The model of slightly altered crystal prephase structure is proposed to describe Cu local environment. It is shown that the rearrangement of Fe environment to icosahedral ordering takes place. It may be caused by Fe and Al atom replacement.
