Abstract
We present arguments for the existence of new higher dimensional black holes with a Ricci flat horizon in Einstein-Yang-Mills theory with negative cosmological constant. The SU(2) non-Abelian gauge fields are purely magnetic and live on a three-dimensional subspace. A discussion of the main properties of the black holes and the differences with respect to the four-dimensional case is presented. We find that the mass of these solutions always diverges. A regularized action and mass of the d=5,6 non-Abelian configurations is found by using a suitable boundary counterterm prescription.
