Abstract
► A model describing the motion of a vortex dipole in a quasi two-dimensional trapped Bose-Einstein condensate is considered. ► The model is integrable and the generic motion of the dipole is quasi-periodic. ► Stationary and periodic (guiding-center) equilibria are identified. ► Both equilibria are found to be dynamically stable.
