Abstract
⺠A model describing the motion of a vortex dipole in a quasi two-dimensional trapped Bose-Einstein condensate is considered. ⺠The model is integrable and the generic motion of the dipole is quasi-periodic. ⺠Stationary and periodic (guiding-center) equilibria are identified. ⺠Both equilibria are found to be dynamically stable.
