Abstract
⺠We study the energy spectra of fermions confined in an anisotropic harmonic trap. ⺠The specific heat and the Drude weight of the system have been investigated. ⺠Approximate analytical expressions for the above quantities are derived. ⺠A good agreement between the exact and approximate analytical results is obtained.
