Abstract
⺠We study the wake effect in a nanosphere due to a moving charge particle. ⺠The induced potential is calculated based on the dielectric response theory. ⺠The V-shaped wake potential behind the particle motion cannot be observed clearly. ⺠The stopping power dependent on the particle speed and position is also obtained.
