Abstract
⺠A problem concerning the acceleration of particles. Dissipation is introduced. ⺠The property of area preservation is broken and attractors emerge. ⺠After a tiny increase of the dissipation the system experience a boundary crisis. ⺠The chaotic transient is described by a power law with exponent â1.
