Abstract
⺠We study particle motion in field of oblique electromagnetic wave and background magnetic field. ⺠We find energy gained by particle due to capture and surfatron acceleration in resonance with wave. ⺠We demonstrate that all gained energy is accumulated in the motion along the background field.
