Abstract
⺠It is proved that the polarization vortex solitons cannot carry vortex phase. ⺠Polarization vortex solitons formed by cylindrical vector beams must be first-order solitons. ⺠New high-order polarization vortex solitons are investigated in Bessel optical lattices.
