Abstract
► We study fluxon pinning on impurities in the two-dimensional Josephson junction. ► The fluxon transmission is enhanced comparing to the one-dimensional junction. ► The retrapping current as a function of the junction parameters is found. ► The retrapping current decays to zero as the junction width increases.
