Abstract
⺠Fit highly excited energy eigenstates with a finite number of Gaussian states. ⺠Gaussian placed randomly along the classical manifold. ⺠Fitted state reproduces the complex interference structure in the Wigner function. ⺠Fitted state accurately describes the blind spots of the chord function.
