Characterization of an electroactive polymer simultaneously driven by an electrical field and a mechanical excitation: An easy means of measuring the dielectric constant, the Young modulus and the electrostrictive coefficients

► In this study we model a multiphysic coupling in electroactive polymer (EAP). ► A new method was developed to determine the different coefficient of the material. ► The results demonstrated the potential of this method for the characterization of EAP.
