Abstract
⺠In nanowires with different diameters and preferred orientation are fabricated. ⺠The size-dependent melting behavior is studied by DSC. ⺠Relationship between melting point and reciprocal of diameters is about linear. ⺠Crystalline structure has an influence on the melting behavior.
