Abstract
We analyze the structure of fixed points for the non-Abelian four-fermion interactions model in (3+1) dimensions, which has SU(Nc)âSU(Nf)LâSU(Nf)R symmetry from the perturbative calculation of the beta function of the reduced system. We treat the model as an effective theory valid in a scale of energy on which pâªM, where p are the external momenta and M is a massive parameter that characterizes the coupling constants. Using the Zimmermann reduction mechanism, we show up to 1-loop order, that beyond the infrared fixed point at the origin there is a line of non-trivial ultraviolet fixed points that depend on Nc and Nf.
