Abstract
We theoretically analyze the effect of different anionic and cationic mobilities on the impedance spectroscopy of an electrolytic cell. According to our calculations the difference between the mobilities of the positive and negative ions gives rise, in the low frequency region, for a new plateau of the real part of the electric impedance of the cell. The effective diffusion coefficients of the electrolyte in the low and high frequency are determined by the analysis of the real part of the electrical impedance of the cell.
