Abstract
⺠The role of position and momentum in determining the quantum state is studied. ⺠The focus is on the informational completeness of approximate joint measurements. ⺠Position and momentum can be reconstructed without informational completeness. ⺠Informational completeness does not always allow reconstruction from the margins.
