Abstract
⺠We propose new methods for measuring beam sizes using parametric X-ray radiation. ⺠Using the local method, we have carried out a proof-of-principle experiment. ⺠We have also proposed a scheme to measure beam profiles using a Fresnel zone plate. ⺠The proposed methods may be useful for beam monitors in recent advanced accelerators.
