Abstract
⺠The first direct numerical simulation on hexagonal cylinder. ⺠The Letter focuses on vortex shedding from a 3D hexagonal cylinder. ⺠Two orientations and 3 Reynolds numbers are considered. ⺠Variation of Strouhal number between hexagonal and square cylinder is discussed.
