Abstract
⺠Different contributions to the heat capacity of liquid water are analyzed. ⺠Contributions of the translational and rotational degrees of freedom are separated. ⺠The contribution of the transversal vibrations of H-bonds is calculated. ⺠The number of H-bonds per molecule is estimated.
