Abstract
⺠We propose a new theory for the origin of cosmic jets. ⺠We study geodesic motion in gravitational fields involving asymmetric collapse. ⺠We find peculiar acceleration of free test particles to the speed of light. ⺠Under favorable conditions, free particles form a cosmic double-jet configuration.
