Generalization of the simplest autonomous chaotic system

Several simple chaotic systems of the form x⃛+x¨+x=f(x˙) have been studied. ► Particularly simple is the case of f(x˙)=α(1−x˙) for x˙⩾1 and zero otherwise with α→∞. ► The dynamics in this case can be calculated exactly, leading to a 2-D map. ► It suggests an elegant electronic circuit implementation.
