Abstract
⺠Findings suggest the use of 90% lead powder in concrete as a gamma shield. ⺠The addition of lead powder in concrete causes an increased strength. ⺠The LAC of concrete with 90% of lead, based on gamma ray emission from 137Cs source, was about 1.58 times higher than that of the concrete without lead.
