Abstract
Although several single-aliquot OSL dating procedures for coarse-grain feldspars have been suggested, none have been accepted to sufficiently correct for sensitivity changes experienced during repeated measurement cycles and recover known laboratory doses. The single-aliquot regenerative-dose (SAR) procedure is very effective when working with coarse-grain quartz, but the procedure has not been effective when applied to coarse-grain feldspars. The current work studies and interprets sensitivity changes in several feldspar samples. A modification to the standard SAR procedure is introduced to correct for these sensitivity changes. It is shown that by using the modified procedure a known laboratory dose can be recovered with an error less than 5%.
