Abstract
The essence of the present solution may be summarized in the following statement: If we could perform the two-slit experiment in a laboratory of a size comparable to that of an elementary particle, the wave-particle duality would cease to exist. It is remarkable that we do not assume quantum mechanics but end up confirming its results.
