Abstract
According to Kerchoff's principle, the secrecy of a cryptosystem must reside entirely on the secret keys. In this paper, a new cryptosystem is presented and one of its secret keys is generated by a chaotic map, we call it chaotic key. Some experimental results are given and the security of our cryptosystem is discussed.
