Abstract
⺠Effects of oscillatory behavior of the dipole on the classical dissociation dynamics of the driven Morse oscillator are found. ⺠Oscillatory configurations of the dipole can inhibit dissociation. ⺠The observed inhibition of the dissociation is related to the change of the sign of the dipole function.
