Abstract
⺠We develop two types of analytical solutions for long waves. ⺠An analytical solution for waves over a cylindrical island on a shoal. ⺠An analytical solution for waves over a circular island with combined topographies. ⺠The solution for combined topographies can be applied accurately to real islands.
