Abstract
⺠This review evaluates the effectiveness of 20 studies on staff training for BPSD. ⺠There is evidence that training can reduce BPSD and improve staff behaviour. ⺠No links were found between theoretical orientation of training and outcome. ⺠Methodological weaknesses indicate that high quality RCTs are urgently needed.
