Abstract
⺠The resistance of cancer cells to ROS might be due to a small population of CSCs. ⺠CSCs prevent ROS formation avoiding aerobic respiration and increasing glycolysis. ⺠Most radio- and chemotherapeutical treatments are based on ROS induction. ⺠ROS levels in a specific tumor would help define the best therapy for each patient.
