Abstract
⺠7-Oxysterols induce p53, phospho-p53, and oxidative stress in apoptosis. ⺠Nuclear p53 and lysosomal and mitochondrial membrane permeabilization are induced in M1-t-p53 cells, but not in M1 cells. ⺠7-Oxsyterols induce apoptosis via p53-dependent lysosomal-mitochondrial pathways.
