Abstract
⺠Microvesicles (MVs) from T lymphocytes protect endothelial cells against apoptosis. ⺠Effect of MVs is linked with caspase inhibition and Bax and Bcl-2 expressions. ⺠Internalization of MVs induces antioxidant defense to endothelial cells. ⺠MVs activate the Sonic Hedgehog cascade, independently of mitochondrial reactive oxygen species.
