Abstract
⺠Quercetin modulates hematological changes under hypobaric hypoxia. ⺠It reduces oxidative stress and inflammation by blocking NFκB, thereby preventing HACE. ⺠Quercetin was found to be a more potent drug than dexamethasone against HACE. ⺠Quercetin at 50 mg/kg body wt could completely remove cerebral edema in rats.
