Abstract
⺠We studied the effects of GW0742 on endothelial function in type 1 diabetic rats. ⺠PPARβ/δ activation restored endothelial function in streptozotocin-induces diabetes. ⺠This drug increased nitric oxide bioavailability by downregulating NADPH oxidase. ⺠It also inhibited prepro endothelin-1 up-regulation induced by high glucose.
