Abstract
⺠The redox activity of APE1 is essential for mitochondrial function under oxidative stress. ⺠APE1 regulates the DNA-binding activity of NRF1 in a redox-dependent manner. ⺠The mitochondrial maintenance function of APE1 is NRF1-dependent.
