Abstract
⺠Formulation of a natural nontoxic phenolic, malabaricone C (mal C), as an efficient anti-inflammatory agent. ⺠Mal C downregulated several inflammatory gene products of the NF-κB pathway. ⺠Mal C inhibited p38 and JNK-mediated IKKγ activation. ⺠Mal C also blocked both MyD88- and PKR-dependent canonical NF-κB pathways.
