Abstract
⺠Peroxisomal proliferator-activated receptor δ (PPARδ) activation prevents radiation-induced oxidative stress/inflammation. ⺠PPARδ inhibits NF-κB via transrepression by physically interacting with its p65 subunit. ⺠PPARδ prevents activation of the PKCα/MEK1/2/ERK1/2/AP-1 pathway. ⺠PPARδ activation modulates radiation-induced microglial proinflammatory response.
