Abstract
⺠Oxidative stress and inflammation are elevated in renal tissues after rhabdomyolysis. ⺠Antioxidants bisphenol/ascorbate synergize to inhibit renal oxidation/inflammation. ⺠Not all markers of acute kidney injury improved indicating that renal dysfunction persists. ⺠Lipid- and water-soluble antioxidants differ in their effect on rhabdomyolysis.
