Abstract
⺠A redox-dependent regulation of Akt phosphorylation in PTEN null cells. ⺠Redox imbalance in PTEN null cells increases intracellular reducing capacity. ⺠Reduced cytosolic milieu in PTEN null cells prevents Akt Thr308 dephosphorylation. ⺠Decrease in superoxide favors dephosphorylation of cytosolic Akt by PP2A.
