Abstract
⺠Human regulator of heat-induced transcription (RhitH) is involved in transcriptional regulation of human Mpv17-like protein (M-LPH). ⺠FOXD3 and GABP are involved in transcriptional regulation of RhitH. ⺠M-LPH reduces intracellular H2O2 and loss of mitochondrial membrane potential. ⺠Our data suggest that M-LPH has a mitigating effect on mitochondrial dysfunction.
