Abstract
⺠Recombinant superoxide reductase from Giardia intestinalis (SORGi) purified and characterized. ⺠Reaction with superoxide studied by pulse radiolysis and stopped-flow photometry. ⺠High superoxide reductase, but negligible superoxide dismutase measured. ⺠SORG expression in the parasite trophozoite assessed by immunoblotting.
