Abstract
We suggest that the COMT inhibition may play a promising role in successfully controlling levodopa-induced hyperhomocysteinemia and in reducing the risk of pathologies probably linked to it. These preliminary findings and postulated hypotheses must now be confirmed in prospective studies.
