Abstract
⺠This review deals with C-type lectin-related proteins from snake venoms which have following characteristics. ⺠Structurally, they are highly homologous heterodimers, but can form higher oligomers. ⺠Functionally, they are diverse with pro/anti-coagulant and pro/anti-thrombotic activities. ⺠Naturally occurring inhibitors, which provide lead structures for drug development.
