Abstract
⺠Hump-nosed viper bite causes coagulation abnormalities and AKI in envenomation. ⺠Thrombotic microangiopathy (TMA), found in patients with AKI. ⺠TMA could have led to development of severe AKI. ⺠TMA could have led to local tissue necrosis, severe thrombocytopenia and anaemia. ⺠Strong suspicion is needed to detect TMA in envenomed patients.
