Abstract
⺠We examined pinnatoxins E and F in hippocampal slices and hemidiaphragms of rats. ⺠Hippocampal gamma oscillations were unaffected by pinnatoxins. ⺠Nerve-evoked compound muscle action potentials were abolished by PnTx's. ⺠Pinnatoxins E & F act as potent heteromeric muscular nicotinic receptor antagonists.
